Careers Education Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) Administrator

Permanent Contract

Hours: 35 per week,  8.00am – 3.30pm, term time only 38 weeks.

Salary: Grade 4 (Point 5 to 6), £15,297.18 - £15,955.39* (*ACTUAL SALARY) dependent on level of service

Location: Dormston School, Mill Bank, Dudley, West Midlands, DY3 1SN

Required for a start in the autumn term we are looking for an administrator to support the whole school by facilitating and managing our careers programme under the guidance of our Careers Leader and working across the age and ability range within the school.

The successful candidate should be organised and enthusiastic, with a knowledge of school work experience programmes and/or Post 16 options available to students of all abilities. They will need to possess excellent communication skills as the role requires supporting students directly as well as supporting and working alongside external providers, and supporting school staff to stay up to date with changes in guidance and legislation. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with their careers aspirations and helping to guide them into the next steps.

Good standard of English/Maths.

Good knowledge of ICT packages.

Experience of working with children and young people would be desirable

Knowledge of Work Experience  and current Careers Guidance would be desirable.
