Job Title:    Site Caretaker

Grade: Grade 4

Salary: Actual salary £10,438 p.a

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday whole year

Working Hours: 20 hours per week averaged over the year

Responsible to:  Headteacher  

The Fierté Trust are looking to appoint a well organised, reliable and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Site Caretaker at Ankermoor Primary Academy.  This will be a busy and varied role.

  Duties and responsibilities include: Working under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide routine cleaning and/or caretaking tasks to support the effective operation of the school. Unlock and secure premises at agreed times and maintain the key(s) in their possession for emergency call-out.  Maintain vigilance for Health and Safety concerns in and around the building including checking outside area for syringes, broken glass etc. and disposing of appropriately.
