The Role

We are seeking to appoint a Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance Coordinator (CEIAG) from September 2021.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of independent and impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance to Aylesford students.  They will help organise and deliver Aylesford’s Careers and Enterprise programme, work related learning and eventually the Careers Mark Award.  They will work under the direction and support of the school’s Careers Lead and the Senior Leader i/c of Careers.

Working arrangements: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch,

35 hours a week for 39 weeks a year - term time only plus 5 days in the school holidays to coincide with GCSE and A Level exam results.

The Post will be paid on Salary Grade G, Points 11-14 (£22,183.00 - £24,491.00 per annum pro rata) which equates to a term time only pro rata salary of £17,968.51 per annum

Key Requirements

The successful candidate will have an appropriate and relevant qualification in Careers Advice.  They will have a passion for maximising careers opportunities and display excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and network effectively with others.
