About Us and The Role

Warwickshire has a fantastic fostering team. We recruit foster carers, assess them, have a fostering panel and offer our foster carers training and support. We also have an SGO (Special Guardianship Order) support team. We are countywide and links with Fostering Network to support us and our foster carers. We are fortunate to have a Psychologist who is based in our team. Our staff group is made up of fostering support workers and social workers. Our team is generally stable and growing to match the needs of the children in Warwickshire.

We are looking to recruit a permanent manager to join our Connected Persons Team, with the wider Fostering Team. We currently have two experienced managers in post and you will part of this cohesive group. You will be responsible for a team of social workers who are assessing connected people for permanence options for children which could be through Special Guardianship Orders, CAO or long-term fostering.

Your role will include a quality assurance role, allocations, supervision and giving specialist knowledge. You will work alongside legal and children’s teams. Therefore, prior experience in Connected Persons work will be required.

This is an exciting opportunity and a role that is very rewarding.

We work from a Restorative Practice and trauma informed base. The management group is stable and supportive.

For further details please see the Job Description and Person Specification.
