About Us

We encourage applications from dedicated, committed and enthusiastic people who would like to join our successful and hard-working school team. We are looking for an experienced and proactive business manager who would be part of the Senior Leadership Team and along with other leaders, would be responsible for continuing to move our school forwards.

We can provide a supportive staff, together with children who are eager to learn, within a wonderful school environment, graded ‘good’ by Ofsted. The successful candidate should have excellent English, maths and IT skills and either Degree or Certificate in School Business Management or NVQ4 in School Business Administration or equivalent, together with experience of working in education, local government finance or similar.

Glynne is a two-form entry community primary school with a maintained Nursery. Our school has a warm, vibrant atmosphere where purposeful learning takes place. We are committed to the development of the whole child and aim to provide a wealth of opportunities for all.

We are fortunate to have excellent outdoor facilities – substantial grounds with a large playing field, tyre park and play equipment, quiet areas and gardens as well as an environmental area and Forest School. Our indoor facilities include two libraries, a computer suite, two large halls and a separate dining room.

We offer Wrap Around Care to complement our Nursery and Reception provision and before and after school clubs to help accommodate child care needs for working parents.

Our Ethos and Values

Our school ethos is underpinned by the Rights Respecting Schools ethos and our motto ‘Aiming High – live, enjoy, believe’ reflects our school purpose in aiming to provide the best all round educational experience for our children.

At Glynne we have four core values that underpin our curriculum, expectations and behaviours:

Enjoyment

If you feel you could positively contribute to our children, our team and our school community, then this job could be for you.
