Fostering Social Worker covering a vacancy to complete Form C's

£29,033 - £31,288 per annum pro rata if not full time

PO1

37 hours per week

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a sessional  Social Worker to be appointed within the Family and Friends fostering team.

You will become an integral part of a team, picking up complex Form C assessments. You will be supported with regular, good quality, supervision, training and development opportunities. You will either have a recognised social work qualification such as Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, or Social Work Degree.

Our teams are committed to high standards and to achieving the very best outcomes for children and young people through proactive and child focused care planning and by our close multi-agency working arrangements with all relevant agencies within Telford and Wrekin. Above all we value and listen to the views of children and young people and shape our services around their needs.

We are looking for a senior social worker who is confident in managing complex assessment  work within the fostering arena. You must have a good working knowledge of Form C assessment needs.
